Ride Easy Pards: Tailgaters, clueless cyclists and other scofflaws
In some states, including Colorado, driving rules state that if you are driving at the posted speed limit and have three or more cars following you, you should pull over and let them pass.
This essentially gives the right of way to drivers who are speeding and breaking the law.
Can’t they figure out that if something happens and the car in front stops suddenly, the tailgating car is probably going to run into that car possibly killing or maiming themselves and persons they are tailgating.
If you are in a hurry, perhaps you should plan your day or trip better.
