Conner Mantz Breaks North American Record at Chicago Marathon
Conner Mantz became the fastest marathoner in the U.S. at the 2025 Chicago Marathon, finishing fourth overall with a time of 2:04:43.
Canada's Rory Linkletter finished ninth overall with a new personal best of 2:06:49.
Mantz broke the 23-year-old American record previously held by Khalid Khannouchi, who ran 2:05:38 at the 2002 London Marathon.
