The UNC Pembroke Braves football team (7-2, 4-1 Conference Carolinas) will close out their regular season with a game against the Barton College Bulldogs (2-6, 2-2 Conference Carolinas) at 3 p.m. Saturday.
With a win, the Braves will clinch a spot in the Conference Carolinas Championship game. A strong offensive performance would also earn the Braves their seventh game with more than 30 points this season.
“We just have to play Pembroke football,”
said UNCP coach Mark Hall. The Braves impressed last weekend, defeating Chowan on the road 42-10.
The Barton College Bulldogs have struggled to find a rhythm all season long, averaging just 16.5 points per game and allowing 34.4 points.
