The team will host a semifinal match on November 22 at BC Place Stadium, facing either Los Angeles FC or Austin FC. This comes after their win on November 1, where Ralph Priso scored his first goal of the season to tie the game, leading to a shootout victory at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
Priso's goal, his third career MLS goal, tied the game after Petar Musa opened the scoring for Dallas in the 25th minute. Notably, Priso became the 21st player to score for the Whitecaps in MLS play this season, setting a new league record.
This marks the third time the Whitecaps have reached the MLS Western Conference semifinal stage, and they now aim to reach the conference final for the first time in club history.
