Butte Police Investigating Assault, Suspect at Large
The Butte Police Department is investigating a stabbing and an assault with bear spray that occurred on Sunday morning.
A 44-year-old man reported being sprayed with bear spray and stabbed in an altercation on the 1000 block of South Arizona Street at 10:31 a.m.
The victim reported the incident at a store at 901 E. Front Street and was transported to St. James Healthcare for his injuries.
The suspect is described as a tall white male with long gray hair, wearing a green camouflage jacket or shirt and black jeans, estimated to be 40 to 50 years old.
