The 2025 WTA Finals have begun with several upsets, including two of the world's top women's tennis stars faltering at the end-of-season tournament.
World No. 5 Jessica Pegula took down reigning champion No. 2 Iga Świątek 3-6, 6-1, 6-0, while another upset saw Rybakina storm past Świątek, winning 12 out of the last 13 games.
