Tropical Weather Update - October 12, 2025
An area of low pressure in the central tropical Atlantic, identified as Invest 97L by the National Hurricane Center, is located west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands and continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
Environmental conditions are conducive for development, and a tropical depression could form this week as it moves across the central tropical Atlantic.
