According to Statcounter, the share of devices on Windows 10 is declining slowly, with 41.71% of devices using the operating system in October, while Windows 11 usage is gradually increasing, with 55.18% of devices using the newer operating system.

Microsoft is encouraging users to upgrade to Windows 11, but those who wish to continue using Windows 10 must sign up for Extended Security Updates (ESU) or use a supported version, such as the LTSC editions, to receive ongoing fixes.
