High Wind Warning Issued for Our Area
A Wind Advisory has been issued for our area by NOAA, effective tonight and into Wednesday, with gusty southerly winds of 35-55 mph and isolated gusts of 65 mph.
Residents are advised to prepare for potential power outages, with tree limbs possibly being blown down. It is recommended to have flashlights and extra batteries on hand.

A High Wind Warning is issued when winds are expected to reach 40 mph or more, with gusts of 58 mph or more, to alert the community to potential property damage, disruptions to outdoor activities, and transportation issues.
The National Weather Service issues a Red Flag Warning in areas with a high risk of wildfires when strong winds and dry conditions are present.
