California Democrats Urge Voters to Participate in Special Election
Assemblymember Gregg Hart, co-author of Proposition 50, is encouraging people to vote in the California Special Election.
Hart, along with State Senator Monique Limón, worked to introduce Proposition 50 after Texas added conservative seats to the House of Representatives.
"It is a really important election and I'm glad that we are going to be celebrating soon, the polls are still open, we want people to get out and vote,"
said Hart. He emphasized that Proposition 50 allows for temporary changes to Congressional Districts Maps.
- Proposition 50 is the only issue on the California Special Election ballot.
- Hart represents the 37th District, which was recently redistricted.
