Patrick Stewart to Bid Farewell to Acting
Patrick Stewart is set to appear in Avengers: Doomsday as Professor Charles Xavier, also known as Professor X.
The film, scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, features a vast cast of Marvel Universe superheroes, including the return of Robert Downey Jr.
According to The Kristian Harloff Show, Avengers: Doomsday will be Patrick Stewart's last on-screen appearance, marking the end of his acting career.
Stewart's career began in 1959 with Cyrano de Bergerac at the Theatre Royal, Bristol, and has since included numerous theatre productions, films, and shows.
He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2010 for services to drama.
With a career spanning over six decades, Patrick Stewart has been acting since the age of nineteen.
