Born on May 20, 1963, in Bordeaux, France, Elder Caussé was raised in a devout Latter-day Saint family. His parents were baptized when he was only six months old, shaping his lifelong commitment to the Gospel from an early age.
After completing a year of military service, he relocated to Paris and married Valérie Babin, a childhood acquaintance, in the Bern Switzerland Temple in 1986. They have five children and have managed the challenges of relocation and Church responsibilities with dedication.
