Elder Gérald Caussé has recently become the newest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Originally from Bordeaux, France, Elder Caussé is 62 years old. Before his calling to the Quorum, he served eleven years as the Presiding Bishop of the Church.
He has also been a General Authority, serving initially in Germany and later in the United States from 2008 to 2012.
Elder Caussé and his wife, Valérie, have been married for 30 years and are parents to five children.
Throughout his talks, he has emphasized the importance of the rising generation and the gathering of Israel.
As students remain excited for the new apostle, we will look forward to seeing what he does in the Quorum of the Twelve.
