Celebrity Traitors winner Alan Carr playfully claimed he is the father of Paloma Faith’s unborn baby after “murdering” her during the show. The two remain close friends, and Faith confirmed there were no hard feelings between them.
Faith, who recently revealed she is expecting her third child, became Carr’s first victim in the opening round of Celebrity Traitors. Carr later admitted that the staged act left him conflicted but amused.
“It was so awful, it really hurt,”
he said on the show’s official podcast Uncloaked, speaking about how it felt to eliminate his friend. Turning to Faith, he added:
“I am so sorry, you know I am.”
Carr then joked about their reunion following the show:
“I want to tell everyone that I am the father of her unborn child. We had a make up hug and one thing led to another.”
Faith, watching from the audience, responded with her signature humor:
“I have been known to turn people and it was an enjoyable experience for both of us.”
She confirmed their friendship remained strong, reflecting on her emotions during the finale:
“Observing tonight and going through my whole plethora of hormonal emotions, I feel like the reason Alan won and I was so sad was we all love him so much.”
Faith added that she felt joy at Carr’s victory, saying it was completely deserved:
“I’m so happy that you won because it was bloody worth it.”
Alan Carr’s humorous remarks and Paloma Faith’s gracious response showed their warm friendship and mutual respect despite the show’s theatrical betrayal.
