Wesam Alghamdi, CEO of NEOM Green Hydrogen Company, announced that commercial production is expected to start in 2027, following testing and commissioning phases planned for 2026.

“The project is one of the key pillars of the kingdom’s clean-energy transition and aligns with Vision 2030 targets for decarbonization and net zero emissions.”

The NEOM Green Hydrogen Company is a joint venture between ACWA Power, Air Products, and NEOM. The project is based in Oxagon, the industrial city part of the larger NEOM development.
