With less than three weeks until the highly anticipated fifth and final season of Stranger Things premieres, Netflix celebrated Stranger Things Day by unveiling a new set of character posters.
The posters showcase fan favorites including Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Will (Noah Schnapp), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Erica (Priah Ferguson), Robin (Maya Hawke), Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Murray (Brett Gelman), Karen (Cara Buono), and Holly (Nell Fisher).
Additionally, new characters Dr. Kay (Linda Hamilton) and Derek (Jake Connelly) make their debut in the posters.
The story is set in the fall of 1987, where Hawkins is still recovering from the chaos caused by the opening of the Rifts. The group of heroes share a common goal: to find and kill Vecna, whose location and plans remain a mystery.
The government has put Hawkins under military quarantine and is intensifying its search for Eleven, forcing her to go into hiding once again.
As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance draws near, a sense of deep and familiar dread looms over the town.
