This Remembrance Day, we honor and remember all who have served and sacrificed in conflicts past and present. We reflect on their vital contribution to the freedoms we enjoy today and extend support to serving and former Armed Forces members and their families.
Many local places of worship around Manchester will observe a two-minute silence. On campus, The Holy Name Church will hold a two-minute silence on 9th November at 11 a.m.

The North West Officer Training Corps, University Representatives, Multifaith Chaplains, university community members, and the public will gather in John Owen’s Quad at 10:45 a.m.
Attendees are requested to arrive before 10:45 a.m. The two-minute silence will begin promptly at 11 a.m.
