The largest service will be held at Ealing War Memorial on Ealing Green, near Pitzhanger Manor. The ceremony includes a parade and a two-minute silence at 11am. The mayor of Ealing, Councillor Anthony Kelly, will be joined by the King’s representative Deputy Lieutenant Richard Kornicki and council leader Peter Mason.
The Royal British Legion’s local branch will march from its headquarters on Oldfield Lane South to the Greenford War Memorial for a public service beginning at 11am.
A Remembrance service at the Southall War Memorial on The Green will start at 10:45am, followed by a two-minute silence at 11am. Attendees are invited to St John’s Church on Church Avenue for a brief ceremony and refreshments afterward.
