Growth in TSP Funds
Despite a slowing rate of return, October marked the third consecutive month where all Thrift Savings Plan portfolios increased in value.
The C Fund, composed of common stocks, performed the best with a 2.34% increase in October, resulting in a 17.49% growth since January.
- The I Fund's international investments gained 2.13% in October, with a 28.01% return so far this year.
- The S Fund, consisting of small- and mid-size businesses, increased by 1.16% in October, bringing its 2025 performance to 12.47%.
- The F Fund, focused on fixed income, gained 0.62% last month, with 6.80% returns in 2025.
- The G Fund, made up of government securities, increased by 0.36% in October, with a 3.72% growth since January.
All lifecycle (L) funds posted gains, shifting towards more conservative investments as participants approach retirement.
